Loutelious "T. J." Holmes, Jr. is an American journalist and national television personality. Holmes first gained national prominence as an anchor and correspondent for CNN. He spent 5 years at the network anchoring CNN Saturday & Sunday Morning. Holmes left CNN at the end of 2011 after signing a multi-platform talent deal with BET Networks The deal included a new show on BET titled Don't Sleep. BET and Holmes parted ways in 2013. In December 2012, Holmes became a substitute weekend anchor on MSNBC. Despite a brief return to CNN, he still appears occasionally on MSNBC. On September 26, 2014, Holmes filed a report from New York for Good Morning America and on September 27, 2014, the weekend Good Morning America team officially welcomed him to ABC News.
