Description
Osvaldo Fern�ndez Rodr�guez is a former Cuban professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from 1996-1997 and 2000-2001. He was a member of the Cuban baseball team which won a gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. On July 29, 1995, Fern�ndez defected when the Cuban national baseball team played the United States in Millington, Tennessee.
Fern�ndez also pitched for Holgu�n in the Cuban National Series. [More at Wikipedia]
