James Cracknell, OBE is a British rowing champion and double Olympic gold medalist, adventurer and Conservative Party politician. Cracknell is married to TV and radio presenter Beverley Turner; they have three children. In the 2004 New Year Honours List he was appointed OBE for services to sport.
