Description
Christian Eduard Dailly is a Scottish former professional footballer. He was a versatile player, often seen in defence or defensive midfield, but has played in most outfield positions during his career. Dailly is Scotland's sixth-most capped player, having won 67 caps. Unlike most other modern-day footballers, he does not have an agent and negotiates deals himself. The largest transfer fee any team paid for Dailly was when he joined Blackburn Rovers from Derby County for 5,350,000 in 1998. Dailly retired from professional football in July 2012 to concentrate on studying for a sports science degree and working for his coaching badges.
