John Timothy Griffin, known as Tim Griffin, is an American politician and member of the Republican Party who has been the U.S. Representative for Arkansas's 2nd congressional district since 2011. He was interim United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas from December 2006 to June 2007, appointed by Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, but never confirmed by the U.S. Senate. Griffin indicated that he will not seek a third term in 2014. He is instead the Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas in the 2014 elections.
