Saira Blair is an American politician from Martinsburg, West Virginia who defeated incumbent West Virginia Delegate Larry Kump in the May 2014 Republican primary. Blair defeated Kump by a vote of 54.5 percent to 45.5 percent in the district, which encompasses portions of Berkeley County and Morgan County. A 17-year-old high school senior at Hedgesville High School, she turned 18 on July 11, prior to the general election. She will face Democrat nominee Layne Diehl in the November general election. Blair's father is State Senator Craig Blair.
