Alja? ?korjanec is a Slovenian professional dancer. He grew up in the town of Slovenska Bistrica in eastern Slovenia. He is a 19-time national champion in Ballroom, Latin and Ten Dance. He has cited his favourite dances as the Paso Doble because "it?s strong and masculine" and the Foxtrot as "everything is fluid and it feels like every move lasts forever". In 2013 he featured in Series 11 of the BBC One hit show Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with Abbey Clancy. On 16 November 2013, they received their first "10s" of the competition, during "Blackpool week" when they performed their Quickstep. On 30 November 2013, they became the first couple that year to score a perfect "40", during Musicals Week. On 21 December 2013, they became the 11th winners of the competition. He was the fourth pro dancer to win the show in his first series of Strictly Come Dancing, the hit BBC show. He currently stars in Burn the Floor with some other Strictly Come Dancing professionals.
