Max Domi is a Canadian ice hockey player who is currently playing with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League as a prospect for the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League. Domi was originally selected 8th overall in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection by the Kingston Frontenacs. He was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 1st round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but grew up in Toronto, Ontario. His father is former NHL player, Tie Domi.
During the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament, an international under-18 competition Max was participating in, Max Domi's father, Tie, allegedly stole a video camera belonging to a Swedish coach, who was recording the Canadian team's practice ? a legal practice. Domi took the unmanned camera before later returning it without the battery.
