Description
Francesc "Tito" Vilanova i Bay� was a Spanish football central midfielder and manager. He worked as an assistant coach under Pep Guardiola, being part of the squads that won 14 titles.
In 2012 Vilanova was appointed first-team manager, winning the national championship in his only season. Because of a relapsed cancer, he stepped down after having managed the team for only one year in July 2013 by ill health, and died the following year.
