Allan T. Tuer is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman and current pro scout for the Florida Panthers. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 9th round of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft.
Tuer played junior the Regina Pats from 1981?83. He registered 486 penalty minutes in the 1981?82 season.
Tuer played pro for the Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota North Stars, and Hartford Whalers, as well as 7 clubs in the American and International Hockey Leagues. During the 1992-93 season he was a player/assistant coach for the Cincinnati Cyclones.
The year following his retirement Tuer was hired as head coach and general manager of the Moose Jaw Warriors. He held this position from 1993?98 before taking an amateur scouting position with the NHL's Central Scouting Service. From 2001-10 he was an amateur scout for the Calgary Flames, and is currently a pro scout for the Florida Panthers.
