Description
David Tua is a former professional heavyweight boxer. Tua turned professional in 1992, and went on to challenge for the undisputed world heavyweight championship against then reigning champion Lennox Lewis; however, he was defeated by unanimous decision in 2000. Tua was known for his punching power, especially his left hook, which accounted for many of his knockouts. He recorded notable wins over John Ruiz, Hasim Rahman, Fres Oquendo and Michael Moorer.
