Thiago Motta is a professional footballer who plays for Paris Saint-Germain F.C. in Ligue 1, mainly as a central midfielder but being adaptable to other midfield positions.
He spent his early career at Barcelona, and has also played two and a half seasons with Internazionale, winning 11 major titles between the two clubs combined. He was most notably part of the Inter squad that won a Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League treble during the 2009-2010 season.
Born in Brazil, Motta is also a citizen of Italy due to his ancestry. He represented the latter national team since 2011, appearing at Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup and finishing second in the first tournament.
