Robert John Murdoch is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman and coach. Murdoch played 12 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings, Atlanta Flames and Calgary Flames and coached 10 seasons in the National Hockey League with the Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks, Winnipeg Jets and San Jose Sharks. He won the Stanley Cup in 1971 and 1973 while with Montreal.
