Description
Janet Parshall is the host of the conservative, Christianity-based radio talk show, In the Market with Janet Parshall, which is broadcast on the Moody Radio network. This program is the replacement for her previous radio show, Janet Parshall's America for the Salem Radio Network; that program was cancelled in early 2010. She was also the host for the 2004 documentary, George W. Bush: Faith in the White House.
Parshall has written several books, including Traveling a Pilgrim's Path: Preparing Your Child to Navigate the Journey of Faith. In 2005, President Bush appointed Parshall to serve as a public delegate of the United States at the 49th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
Parshall hosted the TV documentary series Speechless: Silencing the Christians, which aired on the Inspiration Network and other religious stations in 2008.
Born in 1950, Parshall is a graduate of Carroll College, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She serves on the board of directors and on the executive committee of the National Religious Broadcasters.
