Description
Danny Gottlieb is a freelance drummer who has performed as part of the Pat Metheny Group, the Mahavishnu Orchestra,and the Gil Evans Orchestra. He and his percussionist wife Beth have been a members of Gary Sinise's Lt. Dan Band since 2004. He has been performed on more than 400 cds, including 9 Grammy nominations, resulting in 4 Grammy Award winners. He is a Nashville resident who is also a member of the University of North Florida jazz faculty, where he teaches as a full-time Professor of Jazz Studies. [More at Wikipedia]
