Edin Bav?i? is a Bosnian professional basketball player who plays for Sigal Prishtina of the Kosovan ETC Superliga. He was selected by the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the 2006 NBA Draft, 56th overall. He is a native of Fo?a, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The 76ers acquired the rights to Bav?i? in a draft day deal that sent cash to Toronto.
Edin played for KK Bosna, which was the Champion of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Basketball League in 2006.
At the beginning of the 2008?09 season, Bav?i? joined TBL team Antalya Kepez Belediyesi. but later in the season, he joined the Basketball Bundesliga team K�ln 99ers. In 2011, he joined Aris BC, after having played for New Basket Brindisi, in Italy, and BC Khimik, in Ukraine.
In August 2011, he signed a one-year contract with Vanoli Cremona.
In December 2011, he signed with Greek professional basketball team K.A.O.D. B.C..
On July 11, 2012, the New Orleans Hornets agreed to a three-team trade acquiring the rights for Bav?i?, while sending Jarrett Jack to the Golden State Warriors and Darryl Watkins to the Philadelphia 76ers.
On January 21, 2014, the New Orleans Pelicans traded Bav?i?'s rights to the Brooklyn Nets.
