Gerald Allen Cram Cram spent parts of four seasons in the major leagues with the Kansas City Royals and New York Mets compiling an 0?3 record and 2.98 ERA over 23 career appearances. He began his professional career in the Minnesota Twins organization before selection in MLB expansion draft by the Kansas City Royals. He was traded to the New York Mets in 1973 and then was eventually dealt back to Kansas City three years later. He earned American Association All-Star honors in 1976. His Final professional season came in 1981 with Triple-A Omaha. Cram has spent the last nine years coaching in the San Francisco Giants Organization. First as pitching coach with Class A Advanced San Jose Giants from 2001 to 2003. Then as the pitching coach for the Short Season A Salem-Keizer Volcanoes from 2004 to 2008 before returning to the San Jose Giants as pitching coach for the 2009 season. In December 2009 it was announced he would be returning to the San Jose Giants as pitching coach for the 2010 season.
