Description
Marsh Mokhtari is a British born, US based TV host, actor and producer. His father is Iranian while his mother is of English descent.
Although Mokhtari was born in the UK, his father's nautical career took him to Iran for his first six years of his life. He then spent the next 19 years in the UK. He holds a degree in 'Medical Physics' from the University of Newcastle. While at Newcastle he played American football for the UK national team and had a short career as a pro-athlete, he then had a 'real-job' in London, focusing on the corporate world of executive search. It wasn't until 2001 when Marsh was taking a sabbatical in Australia that he found his true passion.
While in Sydney, he had a fortuitous encounter with the film, 'The Matrix Reloaded', and found himself on 'set' for 2 weeks as an extra. This very short taste was enough to give Marsh the momentum needed to give up a high paying executive job to focus on a 'whim'. He moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and enrolled in an acting class, he's been guest-starring in roles ever since, on shows such as, 'CSI: New York', 'The Young and the Restless' and 'The Closer'.
