Tatjana Maria is a professional German tennis player. Maria has won nine singles and eleven doubles titles on the ITF tour, as well as one WTA tour doubles title in her career. On 14 September 2009, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 64. On 10 June 2013, she peaked at world number 68 in the doubles rankings. Maria made 13 appearances for Germany in Fed Cup competition between 2006 and 2011. On 8 April 2013, she married her coach, fellow tennis player Charles Edouard Maria. Their first child, a daughter named Charlotte, was born on 20 December 2013. After a short break from the WTA Tour, Tatjana Maria returned at the Copa Colsanitas in April 2014.
