Description
Riane Tennenhaus Eisler is an Austrian-born American scholar, writer, and social activist. Born in Vienna 22 July 1931, her family fled from the Nazis to Cuba when she was a child; she later immigrated to the United States. She has degrees in sociology and law from the University of California. She is the author of many popular books and articles, and president of the Center for Partnership Studies. Eisler has been described as a cultural historian and an evolutionary theorist.
