Yalchin Adigezalov Is an Azerbaijanii conductor. He is a member of the third generation of a famous musical dynasty, having been born in Baku to the family of an eminent Azerbaijani composer. In 1982 he graduated from the piano faculty of Azerbaijan State Conservatory. Then, from 1984 to 1989, he studied at the faculty of opera and symphony conducting at the St. Petersburg Conservatory with the renowned Professor Ilya Musin. From 1989 he was the conductor of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra and was the artistic director of chamber orchestra. Between 1990 and 1992 Adigezalov studied at the Vienna Academy of Music and Fine Arts, with Professor Karl Osterreicher, and served as artistic director and principal conductor of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra between 1991 and 1998.
