Brent Tate is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer of the 2000s and 2010s. An Australia national and Queensland State of Origin representative three-quarter back, he played his club football in the National Rugby League for the Brisbane Broncos, the New Zealand Warriors and the North Queensland Cowboys. Despite a career that was set back by a series of severe injuries, Tate kept coming back and was a member of the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2013 State of Origin series-winning Queensland sides, as well as the 2008 and 2013 World Cup-winning Australian sides.
