Description
Monica Trapaga is an Australian entertainment presenter, jazz singer and actress, best known for her work on the Australian series Play School. Monica is of Spanish descent, and her family migrated from the Philippines in the early 1960s. She is the sister of Ignatius Jones. Trapaga appeared on Better Homes and Gardens from 1997 to 2003 in segments related to decorating. She worked as a presenter on the children's television program for several years, as well as recording a number of jazz songs. She used to sing the Bananas in Pyjamas theme song. During the early 2000s, she owned a pet store on Lackey Street, Summer Hill. Monica then owned the shop "Reclaim" in Summer Hill, NSW which sold clothing, decor and small gifts. The shop has since been moved to King Street, Newtown.
